About the Kirrie Show!
The Kirriemuir District Agricultural Association is a Registered Charity that was
instituted on the 5th March, 1877. The annual Kirriemuir Show has been running for
over 140 years with the very first show taking place on 11th August 1877.
Over the years the show has survived two world wars, two foot and mouth
epidemics, a global pandemic and, of course, the Scottish Weather!
The show is organised by a committee of volunteers and could not run for over 140
years without the continuing support of the trades, competitors, sponsors and, of
course, the crowds!
The committee are delighted to announce that, after the success of our 2023 show,
we are returning and will take place on Saturday 13th July, 2024.
We look forward to welcoming everyone on the day. If you cannot make it to the
